In 2020, I served as creative director and co-conceiver of David Blaine’s live event Ascension. In the lead up, YouTube asked us to revive Blaine’s dormant personal channel, which had just over half a million subscribers. For the first release, I wrote and edited the video above - a 20-year career recap narrated by Woody Harrelson and scored by J Ralph. It became the channel’s most watched video within 24 hours and launched a two month content run that I oversaw, tripling subscribers to more than 1.5 million and driving over 100 million views.
